The measuring element in the istameter® multi-jet water meter is an impeller. The impeller starts to turn as water flows through the precision converging orifices of the measuring chamber. The istameter® is equipped with a read switch, pulse output, with each pulse measuring 10 gallons.

The meter has a tamperproof design meeting and exceeding high quality standards. The meter can be easily installed in a horizontal or vertical position and can operate up to a temperature of 194°F.
