Gas Allocation System for Timing

ista introduces the wireless solution for multifamily resident gas energy allocation and billing. G.A.S.T®.  Gas Allocation System for Timing™ monitors time with complete accuracy for furnaces and domestic hot water heaters.

Heat output from a forced hot air furnace is provided when the main gas valve is opened, allowing gas flow to the main furnace. The G.A.S.T device monitors this function of the furnace to determine relative use through timing data.

Product Description
Furnaces and domestic hot water heaters are monitored by measuring run time.

The tamper detection mechanism indicates any third party tampering by maintenance staff or residents. It also detects abnormally high readings, 24-hour readings and cut wires.

G.A.S.T uses the industry-standard Inovonics® wireless platform for energy allocation and automated data collection.
