Over one hundred years of experience
ista has its origins in clorius and ista, the Danish and German pioneers in the allocation of energy and water costs based on individually measured consumption.
2007
CVC Capital Partners announces the sale of their stake in ista International GmbH to Charterhouse Capital Partners.
2005
As part of its final separation from the Viterra AG real estage group, Viterra returns to its roots and is named ista North America.
2003
Viterra is sold to the British Investment Company CVC Capital Partners. The ownership is transferred with retroactive economic effect from January 1, 2003.
2001
Viterra Energy Services continues to expand its activities in the USA and has acquired 100% of the shares in Utiliread Inc, Atlanta.
Viterra Energy Services AG has acquired the Stockholm metering and accounting company Etrem with activities in Sweden, Finland and Norway and thus joins the Scandinavian energy and utility market.
2000
With its program "Energie im Griff" (Getting a Grip on Energy), Viterra Energy Services offers comprehensive services for the German metering market.
Viterra Energy Services takes over the Spanish company Incatema and thus joins the Spanish and Brazilian metering business.
Viterra Energy Services becomes market leader in the Czech Republic.
By acquiring Envirotech Utility Management Services, Viterra Energy Services becomes market leader in the USA for the allocation of energy and water costs based on individually measured consumption.
1999
Following the merger of Raab Karcher and Veba Immobilien to form Viterra AG, Raab Karcher Energy Services now operates under the name of Viterra Energy Services
1998
Raab Karcher Energy Services is represented with subsidiaries in practically all European countries
1997
Raab Karcher Energy Services joins the US-American market and expands its activities to Asia by setting up a representative agent in Beijing, China
